These interactive dashboards demonstrate our commitment towards improving data collection and management to enhance the evaluation of the efficacies and practices of our department. This data is separate and distinct from the Annual Security Report required under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the Clery Act). Our list of dashboards include:
- Active Shooter Presentations
- Annual Crime Statistics
- Budget
- Calls for Service
- Complaints
- Community Engagement
- Hate Crimes
- RIPA Stop Data
- Use of Force/Weapons Drawn
Our work aligns in implementing the Public Safety Advisory Committee's (PSAC) recommendations for the Transformation of Public Safety in the UCI Community as well as adhering to California's Assembly Bill #953 (AB-953) known as the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA).
This bill requires all CA state law enforcement agencies to collect perceived demographic and other detailed data regarding pedestrian and traffic stops. We began reporting this data to the California Justice Department in July 2021 - well ahead of the April 1, 2023 requirement.
We'll continue to partner with our community with the goal of providing the highest quality of public safety and professional policing services to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.
